CWMF Corporation named 2023 Manufacturer of the Year and
Clint Nelson named 2023 Collaborator of the Year

Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association (CMMA) has named CWMF as the 2023 CMMA Manufacturer of the Year. CMMA President Les Engel recently presented CWMF with this well-earned award to celebrate not only the company’s commitment to CMMA, but the betterment of manufacturing overall.
CWMF Corporation of Waite Park is a fourteen-year member of CMMA. This outstanding company has added value to CMMA and the manufacturing community in several ways:
- Actively attend and participate in CMMA meetings, fundraisers, and events
- Hosted in-person tours during Central MN Tour of Manufacturing in 2016, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
CMMA will make a $500 donation to the award winner’s charity of choice. CWMF has chosen the Jackson Roeder Memorial Fund. The Jackson Roeder Memorial Fund benefits youth who suffer from mental health related issues, aspiring to bring hope and awareness to those in need. The fund was established by Jackson Roeder’s family after his passing in 2017. Jackson was a talented individual who left behind a true passion for art. CMMA has named Clint Nelson the 2023 CMMA Collaborator of the Year. CMMA President Les Engel recently presented Nelson with this well-earned award to celebrate not only his commitment to CMMA, but to the CMMA Golf Social, a project he has chaired for 12 years.
Nelson is a Certified Financial Planner and retirement plan advisor with Qualified Plan Advisors of Wayzata. Qualified Plan Advisors has been a member of CMMA since 2012.
CMMA will make a $500 donation to the award winner’s charity of choice and Nelson has chosen Great River Faith in Action. Great River Faith in Action supports the needs of the elderly and families, or individuals in need throughout Sherburne County, and parts of Wright and Mille Lacs counties in Minnesota. Great River Faith in Action helps elderly and disabled folks live independently in their homes for as long as it is safe and reasonable for them to do so, reducing the need for them to move into a nursing home.
