Midwest Manufacturers (MMA) Announces Minn-Dak Manufacturers Association (MDMA) and Red River Manufacturing and Engineering Association (RRMEA)
Strengthening the manufacturing community across the Midwest
The Minn Dak Manufacturers Association (MDMA) and the Red River Manufacturing and Engineering Association (RRMEA) are excited to announce a strategic partnership that will unite their efforts, creating one regional manufacturing association dedicated to supporting manufacturers. This collaboration will offer an expanded network and a broader range of services, making it easier for companies across the region to engage, connect, and thrive.
This partnership comes after careful consideration and planning, with the full support of MMA, MDMA and RRMEA’s boards of directors. By combining the strengths of both organizations, MDMA will become an affiliate of the Midwest Manufacturing Association (MMA), which will allow local manufacturers to access a wide range of services, including webinars, educational programming, networking opportunities, and event planning assistance.
As part of this integration, RRMEA members will join MDMA, creating one united voice for manufacturing in the region. Current MDMA members will see no changes to their membership experience but will benefit from the expanded programming and opportunities available through the larger MMA network.
What This Means for MDMA Members
MDMA members will continue to have access to all the association’s regular offerings, such as monthly industry tours and networking socials, while also benefiting from the resources provided by MMA.
The MDMA board will remain unchanged, with Lynda E. Bailey joining as Executive Director. Lynda is also the Executive Director of MMA, CMMA, AMFA and TSMA. She will be available to answer any questions regarding the transition and the new partnership.
What This Means for RRMEA Members
RRMEA members will be welcomed into the MDMA fold and will be able to take advantage of MDMA’s established programming, including industry tours, social events, and networking opportunities. Over the coming months, the two organizations will align membership structures and services.
Patrick Mineer, President of the MDMA Board of Directors, expressed excitement about this new chapter, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome RRMEA members into MDMA, and I believe that together, we can build an even stronger manufacturing community. With the support of MMA and the increased programming, events, and advocacy, we are confident that MDMA can continue to be a vital resource for manufacturers across the region.”
