When we developed the concept of the Minnesota Manufacturing Conference, our goal was to bring together manufacturers from around the state to collaborate and drive the industry forward as a group.  We did not create a cost structure based on geography because we were trying to treat all manufacturers the same.  However, despite many of the same challenges we all face, there are also challenges that you face, that companies inside the Twin Cities metro do not.
