Ed Bolas was recently named 2020 President of Midwest Manufacturers’ Association (MMA). Bolas is the Controller at Dycast Specialties Corporation, a Starbuck-based manufacturer of precision zinc and aluminum die castings. Bolas is a founding member of MMA, serving as Treasurer of the board from 2001 - 2017. This is his third term as President.
 
Mark Petersen was named Vice President of the association. Petersen is Operations Manager at ITW Heartland, an Alexandria manufacturer specializing in short run, close tolerance CNC machining services and specialty pinion and gears for the aerospace industry.  Petersen has served on the MMA board since 2018.
 
Steve Leen, Partner at BerganKDV, will serve as Secretary of the organization in 2020. The Treasurer position was filled by Jeremy Lehman, Production Manager of Machining at RMS Tritec in Virginia, MN.
 
Serving as Directors in 2020 are: Liz Diedrich, Diedrich RPM, Boomington; Les Engel, Engel Metallurgical, Sauk Rapids; Wade Karnes, Zakobe LLC, Bovey; Dean Kiffmeyer, Central McGowan, St. Cloud; and Jim Petruga, NECO Solutions, Superior.
