What is ISO Certification?
ISO (International Standardization Organization) 9001 aims to provide a practical and workable Quality Management System for improving and monitoring all areas of your business. Achieving the ISO 9001 standard is not about establishing a set of procedures that are complicated and difficult to manage. The aim is to provide a workable management system that is suitable for your organization. With the right support and the knowledge of your employees, you will end up with a system that will improve all areas of your organization.
Implementing an effective and robust ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) will help you to focus on the important areas of your business and improve efficiency. Heath specializes in Lean Six Sigma, ISO Certification, Health & Safety, and customized Industrial Training.
Heath is an engineer by schooling with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Heath received his Green Belt training from the Department of the Navy, his Black Belt training from Motorola ® University and his Master Black Belt training from Underwriters Laboratories ®.
Heath has worked previously as a Test & Evaluation Engineer of torpedoes in Washington State for the US Navy, and a Continuous Improvement Project Leader for United Taconite - an iron ore mine in northern Minnesota.
Presenter: Ken Stocco, Six Sigma Black Belt
Ken Stocco holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Management. He has 30 years of experience in Process Control and Continuous Improvement, including leadership roles in Quality, Asset Management, Engineering, Lean Six Sigma, and ISO 9001/14000 Systems development. As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Ken’s approach is to use common language, real world examples, and practical applications, to teach and communicate process improvement methods to people from all backgrounds.
