SPEAKER/TOPIC: Brad Vieths, Director of Technical Training, Cirrus Aircraft.

Brad Vieths will share snippets of information about a variety of training and development strategies used to enhance employee success at Cirrus Aircraft. Although each strategy could serve as a stand-alone topic of discussion, the presentation on October 9 won't go into such detail. Rather, attendees will come away with a base-level understanding of the strategies used by Cirrus; perhaps one or more will be a fit for your company! Brad will describe:

Visualization of workplace instruction
Augmented reality training
And more!

TOUR: Cirrus Aircraft
Located at the International airport in Duluth, Cirrus Aircraft Corporation was founded in 1984 with a dream to design and build affordable airplanes that deliver greater control, more comfort, and unprecedented levels of safety. Since 1994, Cirrus headquarters and main manufacturing facilities have been in Duluth. An additional manufacturing facility, which opened in 1997 produces the composite components for the planes, is located in Grand Forks, ND. Today, Cirrus is the world's leading innovator of single-engine, piston-powered aircraft. In fact, for the last five years their SR22 has been the world's best selling airplane in its class.

The event on October 9th will include a tour of the Duluth Cirrus Aircraft Plant, followed by an optional tour of the Training Center.

Tour Requirements: All tour attendees are required to be a United States citizen, provide identification (driver's license), and wear close toed shoes.

Includes pizza /salad buffet lunch. AMFA requests remittance for all reservations not cancelled prior to the meeting.
