Keynote Presentation: What does this recession mean for Manufacturers?
Presented by: King Banaian, SCSU and Luke Greiner, MN DEED
The COVID Recession of 2020 has caused some industries to move forward, but damaged others. The COVID recession is not like any most have experienced in our work lifetimes. Workers have faced a K-shaped recession, but what about businesses? Through a maze of disrupted supply chains and strained labor supply, businesses face challenges in 2021. In this talk Dean Banaian will discuss the history of recessions, why this one is different, and what that means for the manufacturing sector in Minnesota in the 21st Century.
