THE FUTURE OF WORK IN THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty to Speak on February 23
Join the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association (MPMA) on Friday, February 23, at 7:30 a.m. when former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty speaks about “The Future of Work in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” and preparing Minnesota for the changes the next wave of technology will trigger.
Quantum changes in technology are coming at warp speed, posing challenges in every facet of our lives. For this reason, it’s urgent that manufacturers understand the coming changes and develop plans to use those changes.
As the dawn of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” is upon us, advances are being ushered in by the next generation of technologies, which includes nanotechnology, advanced biotech, next-generation “bigger data” analytics, and, especially, artificial intelligence, or “AI.” These new technologies will increase speed, precision, productivity, leisure, health, and access to nearly everything.
