2026-2027 Lakes Area Manufacturers Alliance (LAMA) Scholarship Application

Congratulations on your decision to pursue an educational program in manufacturing! There are challenging and great paying jobs that lead to lifelong careers in manufacturing. LAMA is awarding scholarships to high school graduates who will continue to post-secondary education in a degree or technical certificate program that will prepare them to enter a manufacturing career. Example of jobs that one may enter, after post-secondary education that will qualify for this scholarship are:

Robotics Technicians, Mechatronics Engineers, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, Commercial Wood Product Manufacturing, Automation Engineer, Process Technician or Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Development Engineer, Python & C++ Programming, Assembler, Welder, Fabricator, Fabrication Technician, Expediter, Packaging Engineer, Material Handlers, CNC Machinist, Operator, Tool & Die Maker, Woodworker, Manufacturing Technician, Safety Technician, Safety Manager, Production Manager, Planner, Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Manager, Sales & Marketing, Estimator, Quoter, Maintenance Technicians, Continuous Improvement Technician, Procurement, Purchasing, Buyers.

Recipients of LAMA scholarship awards agree to allow LAMA to use their photo and personal statements in promotional materials.
