Applications Technician

The Applications Technician is a new role to park that has a primary focus on developing and providing the Installation team with accurate and consistent training and procedures for the installation of new Park machinery released through the NPD process and building out training for current machines as needed. This includes extensive onsite support for the installers by providing guidance and insight for the installation requirements and the capabilities of Park machinery. This role will participate in the new product design teams utilizing the NPD processes and provides support to the Training, Installation, and Service teams as required. This role will also perform a variety of routine tasks as well, to provide experience and familiarity with Installation/Field Service team.

The Application Technician will report to and partner with the Sales Operations Manager and Technical Support, Parts and Field Service Manager  to ensure the Installation and Field Service teams are on a planned training path at the proper trajectory. 

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducts on-site and off-site training to the installation team, new Installers and customers on machine installation procedures, start-up, trouble shooting, and any additional training as requested. 
  • Develops installation procedures and all required installation documentation for new product releases as well as evaluating current procedures for continuous improvement opportunities.  Maintains installation procedures on all current products.
  • Participates in new product design teams using NPD process.  Represents the Installation and Field Service team to provide input on machine improvements and needed changes to assist in the installation and servicing processes.
  • Trains support team members from Training, Customer Service, and Field Service on the operation and maintenance of all newly released Park equipment
