DEPARTMENT: Customized Training SALARY RANGE: $53,682 to $95,171 annualized

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: St. Cloud Technical & Community College seeks a Customized Training Rep who desires to join a collaborative, creative and culturally diverse work environment. This position is an integral part of a dynamic team that helps link businesses, government, and nonprofits with effective, personalized training programs for their employees. The Training & Outreach Manager (TOM) will draw upon knowledge and experience in a specific area such as manufacturing, skilled trades, safety, or business/leadership to successfully sell, develop and maintain training programs to meet local workforce development needs. The TOM generates revenue via contract training and open enrollment, non-credit courses. This includes cultivating new business, building new client relationships managing relationships, meeting revenue and profitability objectives, and overseeing training engagements. Additionally, TOMs are responsible for working with intra-college stakeholders (such as Deans and Faculty) to identify opportunities for collaboration and integration. This includes development of new programs that complement existing credit-based programs. Minimum Qualifications:
? 3 years of experience in one or more in-demand disciplines in manufacturing, skilled trades, safety, or business/leadership sufficient to develop and deliver training.
? Interpersonal communication skills required to facilitate consultative conversations to understand customer needs and recommend customized solutions.
? A high level of customer-based relationship development skills, and ability to direct and motivate in order to accomplish work goals.
? Strong speaking and writing skills, superior organizational and administrative skills.
? Ability to work independently and to perform in a team environment as needed.
? Ability to adhere to State, System, and College policies and procedures.
? Results-oriented and client-focused.
? Experience in sales or revenue-generating endeavors with an emphasis on developing customer base.
? Industry-recognized credential or education in discipline of focus.
? Training or teaching experience.
? Knowledge of adult learning concepts and practices, and ability to develop training programs to meet identified objectives.
? Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and administer multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
? Established network of industry contacts including potential clients, instructors/trainers and business or community partners for training and continuing education projects.
? Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
? Process improvement and project management skills and experience. Physical Requirements, with or without an accommodation:
