I hope this newsletter finds you healthy and ready for 2024!
 
You are invited to attend the Networking Social on Monday, February 5 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Timberlake Lodge in Grand Rapids, MN. The social will follow our 2024 Board of Directors retreat and will be a great time to connect with the board on items of importance to you. Please register so we have a head count.

The first-ever regional Tour of Manufacturing on October 26 & 27 in the Arrowhead and Iron Range was a great success with over 135 students touring 10 manufacturing companies. Please see the article in the newsletter with photos and highlights.
 
Also on October 26 AMFA members got a rare look inside the United States Steel Corporation: Minntac near Eveleth. Minntac produces high-quality taconite pellets for use in blast furnaces. After the tour, the Minnesota Department of Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation shared information about low and no-interest loans for businesses relocating to or expanding in the region.
 
The second annual AMFA CTE Jamboree, held at Rock Ridge High School in Virginia on November 14, had a great turnout. Huge shout out to all who helped make it happen. See the newsletter for the photos and article.
 
We are very excited to welcome two new members to AMFA: Minnesota Business Finance Corporation and Cirrus Aircraft. See more details in the New Member section of the newsletter.

Be on the lookout for an email headed your way soon requesting your vote for the AMFA Board of Directors. Please follow the link and complete the ballot for the 2024 AMFA board.

Please update all information for your company by February 19, 2024.
