About the Speaker: King Banaian, interim Dean of the College of Education and Learning Design, St. Cloud State University
King Banaian is a professor and interim Dean of the College of Education and Learning Design at St. Cloud State University. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Claremont Graduate School. He has consulted at central banks and ministries of finance in several developing countries. He is the author of two books and over 50 articles discussing monetary policy and political economy. A former state representative from St. Cloud, he is co-author of the St. Cloud Quarterly Business Report, president of the St. Cloud Economic Development Authority and a commissioner of the St. Cloud Regional Airport.
