TSMA to host Candidate Forum in Alexandria on September 11

Format: Candidate Forum
Moderator: Jennifer Byers, MN Chamber of Commerce

Provide a voice for manufacturers! Every two years, TSMA hosts an interactive session with local legislators and candidates.  

• TSMA members have an opportunity to become familiar with current legislators and how the congressional and gubernatorial elections may effect manufacturing
• Learn where candidates stand on issues that are important to the success of mnaufacturers in this region
• Ask questions about legislation of interest to your company
• Express your opinions and/or raise concerns about business-related issues.

Co-host:  Minnesota Manufacturers Coalition
The Minnesota Manufactuers Coaltion, in conjunction with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, will co-host this event. The Minnesota Chamber will have policy experts on hand to enhance and facilitate the conversation with area officials and candidates.

 

About the Tour:



Following the forum join us to tour four departments at Alexandria Technical & Community College including: Machine Tool Technology; Welding Technology;  Mechanical Drafting, Design and Engineering; and Mechatronics, which merges electronic, mechanical, and information technology into one.
