About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Manual Manufacturing department. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain production equipment to help us deliver high-quality steel products safely and efficiently.
1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4 PM - 2:30 AM
What You’ll Do

Operate production equipment such as Press Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Saw, Spot Welder, and Tumbler

Manage time effectively to run multiple machines during your shift

Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes

Handle and organize raw materials, scrap, and finished parts

Perform product inspections to ensure quality standards are met

Complete light maintenance and follow lockout/tagout procedures

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

Use ERP systems to log jobs and track parts

Package finished parts as needed

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years in manufacturing preferred

Skills & Knowledge:
-
Forklift and crane certifications preferred
-
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment
-
Knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing processes
-
Comfortable using hand tools and basic math for production work

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
-
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods

Work in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes and machining noise
