About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Manual Manufacturing department. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain production equipment to help us deliver high-quality steel products safely and efficiently.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4 PM - 2:30 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Operate production equipment such as Press Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Saw, Spot Welder, and Tumbler

  • Manage time effectively to run multiple machines during your shift

  • Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes

  • Handle and organize raw materials, scrap, and finished parts

  • Perform product inspections to ensure quality standards are met

  • Complete light maintenance and follow lockout/tagout procedures

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

  • Use ERP systems to log jobs and track parts

  • Package finished parts as needed

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years in manufacturing preferred

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Forklift and crane certifications preferred

    • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment

    • Knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing processes

    • Comfortable using hand tools and basic math for production work

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods

  • Work in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes and machining noise
