MMA launching new magazine - membership directory to be included in inaugural issue

MMA’s membership directory is going to change formats! The annual printed directory will be included in the inaugural issue of a new printed magazine coming out in early January. Midwest Manufacturing Journal will be a full-color standard-size magazine, published quarterly.

The editorial focus of the magazine will be to serve manufacturers in the Midwest with articles and resources on workforce development, legislative advocacy, leadership, innovation, safety, education, networking, partnerships, and more.

“We took a look at how we could increase communication with members, while also dialing deeper in to our four pillars of commitment,” said Rachel Lolmasteymaugh, MMA Executive Director. “The Midwest Manufacturing Journal will help make sense of changes in the manufacturing industry, report on the challenges and successes in manufacturing, provide insight, and create connections to help Midwest manufacturers thrive.”

The magazine will be mailed to all members of AMFA, CMMA, RRMEA, and TSMA, as well as most manufacturers in the Midwest.

Directory listing
All 600 AMFA, CMMA, RRMEA, and TSMA members will have a free listing in the directory portion of the magazine that will include business name, address, phone number, primary contact and their email, website, number of full-time employees, business categories, and association membership(s). To draw additional attention to your listing members can purchase an enhanced listing that will include their full color logo. The enhanced listing also includes an expanded listing in our online directory including longer description, company logo, additional photos, video links, additional website links, 5 linking bullet points, map link, and additional key words (SEO) in our online directory. The cost of the enhanced listing is only $220, but is on sale for $200 until November 15.

Display ads
The magazine will include prime ad locations inside the front cover, and the inside and outside of the back cover, as well as high traffic and key areas of the magazine, including the directory section. Deadline to purchase ads is November 29. A media kit and more information is available here.

“We are really excited about this new magazine,” said Lolmasteymaugh. “It will be a great vehicle to carry our message to our members and all manufacturers across the Midwest. Manufacturing was the heart of industrial revolution in America. It is still the core fabric of American innovation, expansion, and evolution.”
