We're looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join our team and provide direction and leadership to our Technical Support team. As a Customer Service Supervisor you will work primarily office hours, Monday to Friday, with additional hours as needed to oversee your staff and meet customer needs.  In addition, you will participate in the 24/7 Service Phone rotation as needed.

What can you expect to do in this role?

  • Effectively manage and motivate the Technical Support team, focusing on hiring, training, developing, and evaluating direct reports while fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage and respond to elevated customer situations to provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Oversee customer service system operations, ensuring calls and emails are directed to the appropriate Technicians and resolved promptly.
  • Assist with complex technical support issues and provide backup support to Technicians as needed.
  • Resolve warranty claims and negotiate invoice disputes with customers.
  • Work cross-functionally as a subject matter expert with other departments to proactively resolve internal and external customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track trends and department actions.
  • Investigate customer complaints regarding service-related issues.

What makes you a good fit?

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferred.
  • Seven years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in software, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems, required.
  • Proven ability to lead work teams, facilitate problem resolution, and organize disparate facts into viable solutions, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, preferred.

Qualifications
Preferred

  • Associates or better in Architectural Technology.
  • Associates or better in Electronics Technology.
